Hands Only CPR
1) Shake and shout, "Are you okay?"
2) If not responsive, call 9-1-1, and begin the steps of hands only CPR until help arrives.
A) Hands in the Center of the chest
B) Push hard and fast (Rate of at least 100 per minute)
C) Push down at least 2 inches

1) Immediate recognition of cardiac arrest and activation of the emergency response system.
2) Early CPR with an emphasis on chest compressions.
3) Rapid defibrillation.
4) Effective advanced life support.
