Adamsheart Efforts and Successes
As results of our efforts, there have been quite a few successes in relation to our goals.
AED's At sporting Fields
-Vegas Cup Soccer tournament 2013, had trainers with AED's at all large fields.
-Nevada State Cup Soccer tournament 2013, had trainers with AED's at all large fields.
CPR and AED Training
-CPR and AED clinic for coaches, referees, and people working with youth, 50+ people certified.
- Hands only CPR training, Oct. 2013, over 250 trained.
Raise Awareness
-We have met with Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, City Fire Department officials, and City Parks and Recreation officials to share Adam's story and discuss safety concerns.
-We have met with Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen, Henderson Fire Department and Parks and Recreation officials to discuss what can be done to help get AED's available at sports fields.
-We have shared Adam's story with Nevada Legislators to encourage a vote for AB414, CPR and AED certification in health classes in high schools.
-We have spread Adam's story with directors of youth organizations all over the City of Las Vegas.

- Met in May of 2014 with the Nevada Youth Soccer Association State board.
